Certified organic help for relief with symptoms of colds, flu, and seasonal allergies.
The elderberry tree blossoms with beautiful white flowers which, after pollination, develop into black berries. These rich berries are well established in natural medicine, especially in fighting colds and flu, in children and adults.
Studies have proven that the white flowers have powerful medicinal properties as well. They are particularly known for promoting sweating, which helps reduce fever in cases of colds and flu. They also relieve symptoms such as coughs, sore throats, and stubborn accumulation of mucus in the upper respiratory tract.
Elderberry flowers are beneficial beyond cold-and-flu season. They have been shown to relieve nasal congestion and discharge (in adults) associated with sinusitis and seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
