Poacher’s Moon Elderberry Apple Crumble
Here is a great recipe for an autumn feast.
It is an urban dessert which tastes best with fallen apples you have snatched from the palates of squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, and skunks. Do not be shy to ask a neighbour if you can forage a few from their lawn in exchange for some home-baked creations.
Ingredients
- Six or seven apples, cored and sliced
- ½ cup New Roots Herbal Sweet n’ Slim
- 2 teaspoons New Roots Herbal Freeze-Dried Elderberries (to be fine-grinded)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1½ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup butter
Instructions
Toss apples, elderberry powder, lemon juice, and Sweet n’ Slim in a baking dish.
Sprinkle oats on top. Spread butter shavings uniformly over oats.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes or more at 350 °F (175 °C). Enjoy!
