Post-Workout Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup kefir
- 5 whole strawberries, sliced
- ½ ripe banana
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 2 tsp. ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. honey (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
Blend together well, and enjoy!
Other Postactivity Snack Ideas:
- Tuna salad (with light mayo) on a slice of whole-wheat toast
- Peanut butter and apple slices
- Yogurt parfait (yogurt of choice, with fresh berries, shredded coconut, and nuts of choice)
