Calcium is a major essential mineral that is often inadequately supplied by dietary means, poorly absorbed, and often excreted at a rate faster than we assimilate it.
Calcium citrate is a highly bioavailable source of elemental calcium which helps reduce the risk of osteoporosis (decreased bone density), a predominant health concern for postmenopausal women. This disease is not exclusive to women, as men account for over 25% of osteoporosis-related hip fractures annually in Canada. It also serves to prevent the absorption of free radical–generating iron into the bloodstream.
Calcium Citrate is formulated with vitamin D3, the biologically active form of vitamin D responsible for the absorption and mineralization of calcium for the maintenance of a strong skeletal system.
Directions of Use
Adults: Take 1–4 capsules daily with a meal or as directed by your health-care practitioner. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them.

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, or sugar.
