Helps the body to metabolize carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Helps in tissue formation.

Vitamin B6, also called pyridoxine, is among the most biologically active members of the B-complex group of vitamins.

It’s instrumental for the development and maintenance of bones, connective tissue, teeth, and gums. It’s also necessary for the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.

As a precursor for the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine, it contributes to positive mood and emotional wellbeing. B6 further benefits mental health as a component of myelin, the membrane that insulates nerves and shields them from stressors.

New Roots Herbal’s Vitamin B6 contains two forms of vitamin B6: 20 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride, and 5 mg of pyridoxal-5′‑phosphate per capsule.
