N.H.P. Laboratories is currently looking for one junior analyst to fill permanent and full-time position for its microbiology unit. Under supervision and in collaboration with the team, the junior analyst conducts microbiological analyses on samples of raw materials, and finished products using methods, techniques (Spread plate method, streak plate method, Pour plate method, MPN, Gram staining, etc.), according to standard operation procedures (SOP).


Tasks and Responsibilities

Prepare culture media according to procedures

 Perform microbiological testing on raw materials and finished products

 Prepare result files for reviewing

 Participate in OOS investigations

Participate in internal audit program (calibration related documents and QC documents),

Raises any flags to Directors regarding any quality issue or trends observed.


Skills and Competencies

  Languages: English and French,

  Proficiency in MS Office,

Good understanding of current GLP regulations and general SOPs,

  Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines, multitask in a challenging environment and possess good organizational,

High level of attention to detail with respect to sample pretreatment procedures and raw data handling.


Education and Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related biological science or equivalent in job experience.

Work Schedule

- 40 hours a week /  Day shift

- Rotative weekends / Premium

- 9 am to 5 pm

 


We Offer

 - Pay: $ 21.50 

 

-  Expected hours: 40 per week

- Incentives for weekend shifts.
