Description
Glutathione Reduced formula features 200 mg with synergistic antioxidant action of 50 mg vitamin C and 50 mcg elemental selenium.
Reduced glutathione, commonly known as GSH, is an antioxidant which neutralizes free radicals and prevents their formation.
Reduced glutathione is a relatively small molecule occurring naturally in all human cells. Its intracellular depletion ultimately results in cell death, and its clinical relevance has been researched for decades. Research suggests reduced glutathione may be an even more effective antioxidant than vitamins C and E, and it is considered the “master antioxidant.”
GSH protects tissues by neutralizing free radicals and improves the immune system by promoting antigen presentation and stimulating CD8 cells. Glutathione is involved in various important liver-detoxification processes, amino-acid transport, production of coenzymes, and the recycling of vitamins C and E.
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient our bodies do not produce; inclusion serves to amplify immune benefits. Selenium is recognized among the trace minerals critical for protection of cells from free radicals recognized for support of pancreatic function and fertility. It’s a synergistic formula for current health concerns.
Directions of Use
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
