New Roots Herbal’s Fermented Black Cumin Seed powder is naturally fermented for an intense flavour profile and amplified nutritional status.
Black cumin (Nigella sativa) seeds come from an annual herbaceous plant indigenous to the Mediterranean. Their seeds are a nutritional powerhouse with a history of use exceeding 3,000 years throughout the Middle East, Northern Africa, and parts of Asia. The fermentation process consumes sugars and carbohydrates, which leaves nutrients such as fibre, iron, and calcium more biologically available.
This powder is certified organic, non‑GMO, gluten-free, and tested for purity in an ISO 17025–accredited laboratory. It can be added to virtually any beverage, meal, signature dip, or condiment.
Directions of Use
Add to water, juice, smoothies, or your favourite beverage including hot teas. Can be used in cooking with curries, marinades, vegetables, stir-fry, and stews, as well as your signature dips or spreads. Try it on popcorn or roasted nuts.
