Green Colada Smoothie


Summer is around the corner, and I am daydreaming about piña coladas, waves,
and sunshine. To make my daydream more of a reality, I have been enjoying a
delicious “green colada” smoothie midday as I get my daily dose of vitamin D.

Give this supernutritious smoothie recipe a try, and embrace the summer vibes!

Makes 2 servings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 tsp. chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)


Instructions

  • Blend together until smooth, and enjoy!
